This course is designed to help teachers learn how to use the Moodle system to manage their courses online. We will focus on using Moodle features for setting up the various aspects of your course. One important goal of this course is to help teachers design a digital work flow for the materials they will post for students and that students will turn in for their assignments.

For the most part, we will be using the course website to manage our communications. However, there may be uses for Moodle that are more helpful than the website, so I'll continue to explore those possibilities. The website address is noted on your syllabus. Go there everyday for announcements, assignments, etc.

This is an Environmental Science class that runs concurrently with the APES class.  Students do many of the same activities and learn the same material as the AP students.  However the assessments are looking for a more general level of detail and assessment.

This is sophomore Biology.  We will be covering all the major topics of Biology from cells, and genetics, human biology and taxonomy to evolution and ecology.

AP Environmental Science is a course about the interconnections of the natural systems of our world, and the how these systems can be effected by humans.  This makes it a very interdiciplinary study.   In order to understand all the interrelated parts we need to study almost everything.  In order to understand an area or an ecosystem we should know about its geology, biology, chemistry, and history (natural and human).
